At Jackson Pollock’s House

November 2009

Two wines from our company – Dehesa Gago 2007 and Basa Blanco 2007 – were served at two very special events in a magical place: the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center, Long Island. Since 1946 until his death in 1956, the expressionist genius Jackson Pollock painted his masterpieces in this residence, which today has become a place of pilgrimage. You still can see the paint-laden studio floor - such a singular Pollock’s work of art - and paintings, furniture and even his adored collection of books and jazz records. Compañía de Vinos Telmo Rodriguez’s wines were served at the cast party for Tennessee Williams’ play The Day on Which a Man Dies and at a reception and gallery talk by artist Paul Jenkins. We are proud about it.
