MOUNTAIN BLANCO

A surprising and original wine, marked by the muscat´s aromatic intensity, with an unexpected mouthfeel, showing complexity and great balance between freshness and ripeness.

Area: Sierras de Málaga

Villages: Competa and Archez

Place: La Esparraguera, Fogarate and La Loma

Variety: 100% Muscat of Alexandria

Viticulture: Traditional. Many of the vineyards in planted amongst olive trees. Bush vines. Manual harvest.

Winemaking and ageing: Pressed in oil presses with mats.

Soils: Very steep vineyards facing north and west, located at around 550 metres above sea level. Shallow, stony soils, that drain well, developed from Paleozoic schists.
