CORRIENTE
A good, everyday wine. ´Corriente´ (translated as ´common ‘or ´everyday´) is produced with a deep respect for historical viticulture and winemaking. In the early 20th century, growers from Rioja Alavesa would produce a young, village-level, easy-drinking everyday wine, unofficially classified as ´Corriente´, saving the ´Selecto ´wines for special occasions. A wine that is neither deceitful nor ostentatious, Corriente is a simple and approachable wine that represents a region, its culture and of course its wine.
