TABUÉRNIGA (LABASTIDA)

Tabuérniga is another extraordinary place in the historic town of Labastida, where viticulture has been practiced for more than 1,300 years. Here, the stone wine presses of the Middle Ages keep a watchful eye over the legacy of Labastida.

It is an impressive landscape, a closed valley crossed by vineyards, some of them abandoned, others cultivated, and many others recovered by us.

Tabuérniga is a small vertical valley, where its own isolation has meant that shorter vegetative cycles offer a different expression, giving rise to a sober and austere wine, but full of depth and elegance.

At a height of between 540 and 630 metres, these narrow and historic terraces, cultivated using organic practices and respecting traditions, offer a magnificent wine.
