GABA DO XIL O BARREIRO

Since 2021, the white Gaba Do Xil is a true “vineyard wine”, produced with 100% estate grapes, exclusively selected from our O Barreiro vineyard that we acquired some years ago, and have since lovingly restored. 16ha of this extensive vineyard are planted with white varieties, with a further 4ha planted with red varieties. Gaba do Xil reveals the character of Valdeorras, Atlantic with continental influence, and the expression of its native varieties.

Viticulture: Traditional, practicing organic viticulture. Manual harvest in small boxes.

Winemaking and agening: Fermented with native yeasts and matured for several months on its lees.

Soils: Clay, slate soil.
